JER has been really sloppy when he's mentioned Jan's parents. Back in 2001, we learned that her parents were divorced and that she lived with her mean mother. When she had Shawn in the cage, she told him that she'd been in Europe with her parents. Why would divorcee's move to Europe together? Also, in one of Olson's first episodes back at the end of 03/begining of 04, there was a flashback of her telling her mother that she was going back to Salem. The mother said "Over my dead body", and Jan replied "Have it your way." He could have done more with that storyline instead of just letting us forget about a possible murder that Jan could have committed. I'd really like to learn more about her parents, but this writing is making it awfully hard!

I was thinking that she lied about her parents dying n a car crash and killed her mother herself, it wouldv'e been better that way.

This seems like something a little extreme for Jan but mabye she couldv'e braniwashed her or something and saying that Belle tried to kill her or something.

I forgot to put this a few months ago, but I do not think these people are Jan's parents at all, because would a mother really treat their child that way?
I think Jan is a DiMera somehow..... mabye Tony's daughter, Stefano's, or mabye even Andre's.

Well, even though it's sad, there are parents as mean as Jan's (whoever played her mother was a GREAT actress, though). I would LOVE for Jan to be a DiMera. I hope that Hogan does something like that. |

If Hogan does bring her back, he will probably make her a DiMera, I can see it happening under him.
Jan would be a totally different villian under him I think.... more calm and subtle, also mabye focused on other things than Shawn, but still having love for him and wanting to be with him.
