After working hard on a fic, many writers look for feedback from other members. In this post, I'm going to try my best to show how to give a good review 
Here are just some basic pointers:
- Things like "Awesome!" or "Keep it coming!" are all nice things to say, but it doesn't really tell the writer very much. Try to write at least a few setences telling the writer WHY it was awesome and WHY they should keep it coming.
- Show CONSTRUCTIVE critisism. Simple "That story sucked" or "Man, I hate this story" will NOT be allowed. It's okay if there's things in a story that you don't like, but explain why you don't like them. This is about helping a writer...not bashing them. Telling them that they suck doesn't help them at all. It will only discourage them and that's the last thing that should happen at this board.
- This one is for writers: ALWAYS thank your reviewers. They took time to read your story and deserve gratitude, whether they are praising you or giving constructive critisism.
