Well, Passions is officially cancelled and I'm devistated. Yes, it had the dumbest plots in daytime, yes, half of the actors sucked...yes, it made no sense half the time...and yes, it gives daytime a bad name...BUT I LOVE IT!!! lol. The characters have been so hilarious. I find myself even loving the villains (with the exclusion of Spyke). It is just so silly, that you can't take it seriously and I loved it for that. It's just so sad that it's going On another note, sources are saying that NBC is going to can DAYS in 2009. So, this could go one of two ways. 1.) NBC cancels it and we never see DAYS ever again. 2.) ABC picks DAYS up and we see cast changes, writing changes, production changes, set changes, and plot changes. I much prefer option number two. Many people say that they'd rather see the show cancelled than on ABC, but I have to disagree. I don't care how bad the show is, I can't bare to never see Salem again!

:-[Trivia I know, but Passions Hit the 3am. spot in Australia some 9 months ago and so virtually became non existant. Theydid have nice sets and some very beautiful people, It will be a pity to see it go altogether. DAYS on the other hand has become bogged down with too many repeated storylines and a new sponser could only improve its performance. What, I say What would we do without them even when they give one more than just the occasional pain in the 'proverbial'. Jannsboy said it all, virtually one has to just love to hate them mainly I think one does not have to get overly involved nor take anything too seriously. Maybe there just might be an opening for 'Life in LANTON' -- Aussie.

Well, Passions has been picked up by DirecTV, for another year anyway(unfortunately I won't get to see it. Tired that service, after awhile it did not work), so this gives hope for Days when it is cancelled.
I'm almost positive Days is gone on NBC, especially with the ratings issue, but hopefully if written right and Corday doesn't mess up again this Summer can pull things back up. But with it's ratings it might not have the chance of going to another network...but then again Passions did lol....

The ABC soaps really aren't bad with the exeption of OLTL.
